As an update to what is happening right now and what will soon be happening here in DcG:

We are currently in the www.htgn.net gaming league and we just got our first win of the season tonight.

We are organizing the former leaders of the Starcraft division including myself, and 7 year members - Sixen, Hunter and Edit. This is in order to revive and rebuild the Starcraft division of our clan. It was the start and always will be the roots of this clan. Its where we have always truely belonged in so many ways. So, we proudly announce that re-expansion. Anyone that would like to be a member of that division and play primarily Starcraft Brood Wars with us is welcome to email me at cstrikerose@hotmail.com and join us for some tryouts in the U.S. East gateway. We are currently building a Clan Channel there and hope to soon have that open and ready for all new members.

We will be holding various Pub Parties such as the one that was held this previous sunday at 8 pm eastern. Its a time that all can get together, members and visitors, and get to know eachother better, get to know the clan, and just overall kick back and relax. At such parties we give out prizes of various values. The most valueable is the 1 month access to the VIP section of our forums. For the members of the clan:

There will be a clan meeting held BEFORE SEPTEMBER. Notice will be sent out in the form of e-mail to all members so please make sure your e-mail is current and correct.

As there will be many changes following the clan meeting, we would like all members to be informed ahead of time to make sure that if you have any comments, complaints, suggestions or otherwise that you may get those thoughts together before the meeting comes. We will as we always do, get input from each and every member present. When the time and date are announced, please make time for this important clan event. We want every members input possible so that all can have a share in the shaping of the clan. Thank you.

Punch, a member and President/Co-Owner of the clan has resigned as of today. He will be missed greatly and we look forward to seeing him again in the near future. Please read his note to the clan in the DcG lounge General Discussion. To be taking his place is Redneck. For the time being there will be no assistant vice president, however that will change in due time (more likely sooner than later). I and Redneck will be looking for a new AVP to be filling the slot. All members that are interested please show your best qualities as we will be observing all for good leadership qualities. Thank you.

We at Death Clan Gaming have, since 2000, held the position of Respectfulness, Honesty, Loyalty, Dedication and a strong social bond. We are highly regarded in Blizzard Entertainment as well as in Valve/Steam. We continue to hold a good standing before our fellow clans and our allies especially. This is evidenced in our conduct during scrims, playing in our servers/channels, and all around communication. We give great honor to such clans as NTC (Navy's Training Center), SiK World Gaming and many others like them. This has and will always be our policy in gaming and in communicating with our friends online.

We have however, have faced clans that have disgraced themselves in this regard and that should be regarded as Disrespectful, dishonest and be discarded as to clans that should even be dealt with in any avenue. We shall put a list of these clans here, as a warning to all other clans that hold the same policies we do in Zero Tolerance for Hacking, Disrespect, Childlike behavior and the like. Please view this list as frequently as you desire so as to avoid such ones. Thank you.

The majority of clans of this type do not last long anyway, however it is also our goal to make sure they don't seeing as how they ruin the point of what gaming is......which is to just have FUN. They take fun and make it into a stressful problem. I'm sure all who play legitimatly will agree that you just want to get on after work, school or what ever stressfull day to day tasks to do to a fun, relaxing, and stressfree time. I know we enjoy that and thats why we're so popular, people are able to relax at our servers, free of the ADDED stress of these sorry excuses for clans/players. Please consider the list carefully and watchout for these. We promise you will find a much more relaxing time if you do.
